Pennsylvania High School Football - Wyoming Area trounces Honesdale
September 1, 2023: Honesdale, PA 18431 In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Wyoming Area Warriors football squad scored a big 47-12 victory over the Honesdale Hornets.
In their next game, the Warriors clash with the Crestwood Comets (Mountain Top, PA) in a Wyoming Valley 4A match, on Friday, September 8. Wyoming Area will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record. The Comets enter the match with a 0-2 record after their 42-35 league loss to Dallas (Dallas, PA).
The Hornets (0-2) will now prepare for their match against Valley View (Archbald, PA). The Cougars enter the non-league match with a 2-0 record. In their last match, Valley View routed Berwick (Berwick, PA), 34-19, in a non-league match.
