In Friday's non-league game, the Thunder Ridge Longhorns (Kensington, KS) football team knocked off the visiting Alma Cardinals (Alma, NE), by a score of 74-58.

The Longhorns (1-0) will now prepare for their game against Rock Hills (Mankato, KS). The Grizzlies come into the non-league game with a 0-1 record. In their last game, Rock Hills was dropped by St. John's/Tipton Catholic (Beloit, KS), 40-8, in a league game.
