In Tuesday's non-league match, the Baxter Springs Lions (Baxter Springs, KS) volleyball squad tipped the visiting Liberal Bulldogs (Liberal, MO), by a final score of 2-1.

Coming up next, the Lions clash with the Riverton Rams (Riverton, KS) in a Crawford-Neosho-Cherokee bout, on Thursday, September 4. Baxter Springs will attempt to better on its 2-0 season record. The Rams come into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Chanute (Chanute, KS).
