The Mt. Pleasant Kilties were victorious over the host Hope Blue Wave football team by a score of 8-0 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Kilties face the Burrillville Broncos (Harrisville, RI) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 13. Mt. Pleasant will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record. The Broncos enter the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 14-13 non-league win over West Warwick (West Warwick, RI).

The Blue Wave (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Tiverton (Tiverton, RI). The Tigers enter the Division IV challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Tiverton fell by Middletown (Middletown, RI), 22-6, in a non-league challenge.
