September 4, 2025: El Centro, CA 92243 The Central Spartans football squad scored 14 points and limited the visiting Mt. Carmel Sundevils to 6 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Spartans now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Brawley for a test on Wednesday, October 29.
With the defeat, Mt. Carmel drops to 2-1 on the campaign. The Sundevils host Rancho Buena Vista (Vista, CA) to clash with the Longhorns in a non-league outing on Thursday, September 11. The Longhorns come into the outing with a record of 1-2. Rancho Buena Vista won 38-0 in their recent non-league outing against Valley Center (Valley Center, CA)
