September 5, 2024: Frankfort, KY 40601 Franklin County Flyers (Frankfort, KY) followers left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting Shelby County Rockets (Shelbyville, KY), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Franklin County advances its record to 4-2 on the season. The Flyers travel to Mercer County (Harrodsburg, KY) to face the Titans in a non-league test on Friday, September 6. The Titans go into the test with a record of 2-0. Mercer County won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Burgin (Burgin, KY)
The Rockets now sport a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Nelson County for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 10.
