Gateway Panthers (Kissimmee, FL) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Cypress Creek Bears (Orlando, FL), 36-0 in a league battle.

With the win, Gateway advances its record to 1-2 on the season. The Panthers host Lake Region (Eagle Lake, FL) to encounter the Thunder in a non-league battle on Friday, September 12. The Thunder go into the battle with a record of 1-2. Lake Region won 8-7 in their recent non-league battle against Celebration (Celebration, FL)

The Bears now own a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Innovation for a Freelance match on Friday, September 12. Cypress Creek will confront a Bulls squad coming off a 10-3 non-league win over Leesburg (Leesburg, FL). The Bulls record now stands at 3-0.
