In Friday's non-league match, the host Stratford Knights football squad scored a decisive 56-3 triumph over the Fort Dorchester Patriots.

The Knights (2-1) will now prepare for their match against Socastee (Myrtle Beach, SC). The Braves come into the non-league match with a 1-2 record. In their last match, Socastee routed Aynor (Aynor, SC), 14-7, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Patriots play the South Florence Bruins (Florence, SC) in a non-league battle, on Friday, September 12. Fort Dorchester will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Bruins go into the battle with a 2-1 record after their 55-35 non-league loss to Northwestern (Rock Hill, SC).
