The Norton Lancers walloped the visiting Oakmont Regional Spartans football squad by a margin of 50-14 in Friday's non-league test.

The Lancers now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to East Bridgewater for a non-league test on Friday, September 12. Norton will meet a Vikings squad coming off a 8-7 non-league win over Carver (Carver, MA). The Vikings record now stands at 1-0.

With the defeat, Oakmont Regional drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Spartans host Nauset Regional (North Eastham, MA) to face the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 13.
