In Friday's league match, the host Monroe Central Seminoles football squad scored a decisive 52-6 victory over the River Pilots.

The Seminoles (3-0) will now prepare for their match against Caldwell (Caldwell, OH). The Redskins enter the Pioneer Valley match with a 2-1 record. In their last match, Caldwell routed Wellsville (Wellsville, OH), 43-0, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Pilots confront the Magnolia Blue Eagles (New Martinsville, WV) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 13. River will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record.
