September 6, 2024: Billerica, MA 01821 Billerica Memorial Indians (Billerica, MA) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Masconomet Regional Chieftains (Boxford, MA), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Billerica Memorial improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Indians host Andover (Andover, MA) to face the Golden Warriors in a non-league test on Monday, September 9. The Golden Warriors go into the test with a record of 0-1. Andover lost 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Bishop Feehan (Attleboro, MA)
The Chieftains now own a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Peabody Veterans Memorial for a Northeast test on Tuesday, September 10.

Masconomet dropped their first match of the season, facing a strong Billerica squad. Cate Wettstone led the way offensively with 10 kills and 5 service aces. Megan Brady and Lydia Benedetto led the team on the defensive side with 4 blocks and 10 digs respectively.
