The Hanover Area Hawkeyes walloped the host Holy Cross Crusaders football team by a score of 47-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Hawkeyes face the Old Forge Blue Devils (Old Forge, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 12. Hanover Area will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Blue Devils go into the challenge with a 0-3 record after their 42-0 non-league loss to Mid Valley (Throop, PA).

The Crusaders (1-2) will now prepare for their game against Carbondale Area (Carbondale, PA). The Chargers enter the Lackawanna 3 game with a 2-1 record. In their last game, Carbondale Area overwhelmed Holy Redeemer (Wilkes-Barre, PA), 46-0, in a non-league game.
