The Mount St. Joseph Gaels tipped the visiting St. Mary's Ryken Knights football squad by a margin of 24-21 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Gaels now sport a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they host Dundalk for a non-league test on Friday, September 12. Mount St. Joseph will meet a Owls squad coming off a 36-2 non-league loss to Bishop McNamara (Forestville, MD). The Owls record now stands at 0-1.

With the defeat, St. Mary's Ryken falls to 1-1 on the year. The Knights host St. John's (Washington, DC) to face the Cadets in a challenge on Friday, September 12. The Cadets enter the challenge with a record of 1-1. St. John's lost 34-19 in their recent non-league challenge against St. Joseph Regional (Montvale, NJ)
