In Thursday's non-league contest, the Shiloh Generals (Snellville, GA) volleyball squad were winner over the host South Gwinnett Comets (Snellville, GA), by a margin of 2-0.

Next up, the Generals face the Gainesville Red Elephants (Gainesville, GA) in a 6A Area 8 contest, on Tuesday, September 12. Shiloh will attempt to better on its 6-11 season record. The Red Elephants go into the contest with a 9-11 record after their 3-2 league loss to Habersham Central (Mt. Airy, GA).

With the loss, South Gwinnett moves to 4-11 on the year. The Comets host Grayson (Loganville, GA) to face the Rams in a 7A Area 4 contest on Tuesday, September 12. The Rams go into the contest with a record of 12-5. Grayson lost 2-1 in their recent non-league contest against Dacula (Dacula, GA)
