Ohio High School Football - Zanesville loses to Newark
September 7, 2024: Zanesville, OH 43701 Newark Wildcats (Newark, OH) followers went home pleased Saturday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host Zanesville Blue Devils (Zanesville, OH), 21-8 in a non-league battle.
In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Groveport-Madison Cruisers (Groveport, OH) in a non-league game, on Saturday, September 14. Newark will attempt to better on its 2-0 season record. The Cruisers enter the game with a 1-2 record after their 36-12 non-league loss to Big Walnut (Sunbury, OH).
