September 8, 2022: Lake Waccamaw, NC 28450 The East Columbus Gators (Lake Waccamaw, NC) football defeated the visiting West Bladen Knights (Bladenboro, NC), 22-8 in Thursday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Gators face the Whiteville Wolfpack (Whiteville, NC) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, September 29. East Columbus will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record.
The Knights (0-2) will now prepare for their bout against Clinton (Clinton, NC). The Dark Horses enter the non-league bout with a 1-2 record. In their last bout, Clinton lost by Northside - Jacksonville (Jacksonville, NC), 28-8, in a non-league bout.
