Colorado High School Flag Football - Air Academy nudges Fountain-Fort Carson

September 8, 2025: US Air Force Academy, CO 80840

In Monday's league match, the host Air Academy Kadets flag football squad scored a close 12-6 triumph over the Fountain-Fort Carson Trojans.

The Kadets (2-1) will now prepare for their match against Vista Ridge (Colorado Springs, CO). The Wolves come into the 5A/4A Southern Colorado match with a 3-4 record. In their last match, Vista Ridge tipped Coronado (Colorado Springs, CO), 13-0, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Trojans confront the Elizabeth Cardinals (Elizabeth, CO) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, September 9. Fountain-Fort Carson will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Cardinals go into the battle with a 3-0 record after their 13-8 non-league win over Steamboat Springs (Steamboat Springs, CO).
