Louisiana High School Football - Hammond trounces Riverdale

September 9, 2022: Hammond, LA 70401

In Friday's non-league match, the host Hammond Tornadoes football squad scored a big 42-0 victory over the Riverdale Rebels.

In their next game, the Tornadoes clash with the South Terrebonne Gators (Bourg, LA) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 16. Hammond will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record. The Gators enter the match with a 1-2 record after their 19-14 non-league loss to McDonogh 35 (New Orleans, LA).

The Rebels (0-2) will now prepare for their match against St. Martin's Episcopal (Metairie, LA). The Saints enter the non-league match with a 2-0 record. In their last match, St. Martin's Episcopal routed Pope John Paul II (Slidell, LA), 28-0, in a non-league match.
