In Tuesday's non-league game, the McClatchy Lions (Sacramento, CA) flag football team edged the host Christian Brothers Falcons (Sacramento, CA), by a margin of 27-20.

The Lions now sport a 9-1 record. They take the field next when they host Bear Creek for a non-league outing on Thursday, September 11. McClatchy will clash with a Bruins squad coming off a 28-0 league win over Chavez (Stockton, CA). The Bruins record now stands at 3-1.

With the defeat, Christian Brothers drops to 9-2 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Vista del Lago (Folsom, CA) to clash with the Eagles in a Capital Valley Conference outing on Wednesday, September 10. The Eagles come into the outing with a record of 7-2.
