September 9, 2025: Elma, WA 98541 Mary M. Knight Owls (Elma, WA) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the visiting Oakville Acorns (Oakville, WA), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Mary M. Knight improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Owls host Taholah (Taholah, WA) to face the Chitwhins in a non-league test on Thursday, September 11. The Chitwhins go into the test with a record of 0-1. Taholah lost 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Naselle (Naselle, WA)
The Acorns now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Lake Quinault for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, September 10. Oakville will meet a Elks team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Ocosta (Westport, WA). The Elks record now stands at 2-0.
