Community Braves (Nevada, TX) boosters were pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Rivercrest Rebels (Bogata, TX), 3-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Braves (6-11) will now prepare for their challenge against North Lamar (Paris, TX). The Panthers come into the non-league challenge with a 14-10 record.

Next, the Rebels meet the Como-Pickton Eagles (Como, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 16. Rivercrest will attempt to upgrade on its 5-10 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 18-10 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Miller Grove (Cumby, TX).
