Colorado High School Flag Football - Douglas County tops Ponderosa

September 10, 2025: Castle Rock, CO 80104

The Douglas County Huskies flag football squad scored 14 points and limited the visiting Ponderosa Mustangs to 0 in the Huskies league triumph on Wednesday.

The Huskies now hold a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they host Arapahoe for a non-league test on Saturday, September 13. Douglas County will meet a Warriors squad coming off a 6-0 non-league loss to ThunderRidge (Highlands Ranch, CO). The Warriors record now stands at 2-4.

With the defeat, Ponderosa moves to 2-4 on the season. The Mustangs host Rock Canyon (Highlands Ranch, CO) to meet the Jaguars in a 5A/4A Continental test on Tuesday, September 16. The Jaguars come into the test with a record of 5-3. Rock Canyon won 34-19 in their recent non-league test against Mullen (Denver, CO)
