Texas High School Football - Midway beat Rouse

The Midway Panthers (Waco, TX) football were winner over the host Rouse Raiders (Leander, TX), 38-28 in Thursday's non-league outing.

The Panthers now sport a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they host Mansfield for a non-league outing on Friday, September 19. Midway will clash with a Tigers squad coming off a 74-47 non-league loss to Martin (Arlington, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 1-2.

With the defeat, Rouse falls to 2-1 on the year. The Raiders travel to Lake Belton (Temple, TX) to face the Broncos in a 5A-1 Region II District 8 game on Friday, September 26. The Broncos enter the game with a record of 1-2. Lake Belton won 28-21 in their recent non-league game against Killeen (Killeen, TX)
