Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Norcross Blue Devils (Norcross, GA) and the visiting Hillgrove Hawks (Powder Springs, GA), observed Norcross's volleyball team top Hillgrove by a count of 3-0.

The Blue Devils (15-11) will now prepare for their contest against North Gwinnett (Suwanee, GA). The Bulldogs enter the 6A Area 7 contest with a 13-12 record. In their last contest, North Gwinnett notched a victory over Northview (Johns Creek, GA), 2-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Hawks battle the Pebblebrook Falcons (Mableton, GA) in a 6A Area 3 contest, on Tuesday, September 16. Hillgrove will attempt to move on its 12-15 season record. The Falcons enter the contest with a 12-12 record after their 2-0 league win over South Cobb (Austell, GA).
