The Benton Tigers football squad (Benton, LA), was trounced 50-18 in Friday's league contest with the visiting Airline Vikings (Bossier City, LA)

The Vikings (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against Union Parish (Farmerville, LA). The Farmers enter the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Union Parish was trounced by Alexandria (Alexandria, LA), 57-0, in a non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Tigers battle the Huntington Raiders (Shreveport, LA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 19. Benton will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record. The Raiders enter the contest with a 0-2 record after their 56-34 non-league loss to Captain Shreve (Shreveport, LA).
