The crowd at Friday's league bout between the Marion Center Stingers (Marion Center, PA) and the host Cambria Heights Highlanders (Patton, PA), saw Marion Center's football team nip Cambria Heights by a final score of 26-25.

With the win, Marion Center advances its record to 4-0 on the season. The Stingers travel to West Shamokin (Rural Valley, PA) to encounter the Wolves in a Heritage bout on Friday, September 19. The Wolves go into the bout with a record of 0-4. West Shamokin lost 35-13 in their recent league bout against Purchase Line (Commodore, PA)

The Highlanders now own a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Northern Cambria for a Heritage contest on Friday, September 19. Cambria Heights will confront a Colts squad coming off a 41-0 league win over Conemaugh Valley (Johnstown, PA). The Colts record now stands at 2-2.
