New Jersey High School Football - Elizabeth sneaks past Westfield
September 12, 2025: Elizabeth, NJ 07202 The Elizabeth Minutemen football squad scored 36 points and limited the visiting Westfield Blue Devils to 29 in the Minutemen league triumph on Friday.
The Minutemen now hold a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Joseph for a non-league test on Saturday, September 20. Elizabeth will meet a Falcons squad coming off a 28-21 non-league win over Union (Union, NJ). The Falcons record now stands at 2-0.
With the defeat, Westfield drops to 1-2 on the campaign. The Blue devils host Union (Union, NJ) to meet the Farmers in a Big Central - American Gold test on Saturday, September 20. The Farmers come into the test with a record of 0-3. Union lost 28-21 in their recent non-league test against St. Joseph (Metuchen, NJ)
