St. David's Warriors (Raleigh, NC) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Halifax Academy Vikings (Roanoke Rapids, NC), 41-8 in a league match.

The Warriors (2-2) will now prepare for their match against John Paul II Catholic (Greenville, NC). The Saints come into the NCISAA 8-Man Freelance (8 Man) match with a 4-0 record. In their last match, John Paul II Catholic routed Lawrence Academy (Merry Hill, NC), 57-6, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Vikings confront the Arendell Parrott Academy Patriots (Kinston, NC) in a NCISAA 8-Man Freelance (8 Man) battle, on Friday, September 19. Halifax Academy will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record. The Patriots go into the battle with a 5-0 record after their 22-14 league win over Faith Christian (Rocky Mount, NC).
