North Carolina High School Football - Lake Norman knocked off by Independence

September 12, 2025: Charlotte, NC 28227

In Friday's non-league game, the Independence Patriots (Charlotte, NC) football team overcame the visiting Lake Norman Wildcats (Mooresville, NC), by a tally of 26-7.

In their next game, the Patriots face the Palisades Pumas (Charlotte, NC) in a non-league game, on Friday, September 19. Independence will attempt to better on its 3-1 season record. The Pumas enter the game with a 3-1 record after their 14-7 non-league win over Chambers (Charlotte, NC).

The Wildcats (3-1) will now prepare for their game against Reagan (Pfafftown, NC). The Raiders enter the non-league game with a 3-1 record. In their last game, Reagan fell by Northern Guilford (Greensboro, NC), 20-10, in a non-league outing.
