In Friday's non-league challenge, the visiting St. Thomas Aquinas Raiders volleyball squad scored a 2-0 win over the Knoxville Catholic Fighting Irish.

With the win, St. Thomas Aquinas advances its record to 10-3 on the season. The Raiders travel to Sacred Heart (Louisville, KY) to face the Valkyries in a non-league test on Saturday, September 13. The Valkyries go into the test with a record of 6-8. Sacred Heart lost 3-1 in their recent non-league test against Mother McAuley (Chicago, IL)

The Fighting Irish now sport a 13-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Baylor for a D-II AA East Region test on Tuesday, September 16. Knoxville Catholic will face a Red Raiders squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Mount Vernon (Atlanta, GA). The Red Raiders record now stands at 13-3.
