Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Houston Hurricanes (Houston, MN) and the host St. Anthony Village Huskies (Minneapolis, MN), saw Houston's volleyball squad nudge St. Anthony Village by a score of 2-1.

With the win, Houston improves its record to 6-9 on the season. The Hurricanes travel to Kingsland (Spring Valley, MN) to encounter the Knights in a non-league battle on Saturday, September 13. The Knights go into the battle with a record of 1-4. Kingsland lost 3-0 in their recent league battle against LeRoy-Ostrander (LeRoy, MN)

The Huskies now own a 1-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host DeLaSalle for a Tri-Metro contest on Monday, September 15.
