The Berry Cardinal football team (Charlotte, NC), was ripped 38-6 in Thursday's league challenge with the host Palisades Pumas (Charlotte, NC)

The Pumas (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Myers Park (Charlotte, NC). The Mustangs come into the 4A South Meck challenge with a 2-3 record. In their last challenge, Myers Park trounced Marvin Ridge (Waxhaw, NC), 24-7, in a non-league challenge.

The Cardinal now sport a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they host South Mecklenburg for a 4A South Meck challenge on Friday, September 22. Berry will meet a Sabres team coming off a 46-33 league win over Olympic (Charlotte, NC). The Sabres record now stands at 1-4.
