In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Madison-Ridgeland Academy Patriots volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Madison Central Jaguars.

The Patriots (24-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Oxford (Oxford, MS). The Chargers enter the non-league challenge with a 12-7 record. In their last challenge, Oxford was beaten by DeSoto Central (Southaven, MS), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Jaguars meet the Tupelo Golden Wave (Tupelo, MS) in a Class 7A Region 2 challenge, on Tuesday, September 17. Madison Central will attempt to upgrade on its 14-6 season record.
