Illinois High School Flag Football - Crete-Monee thwarted by Rich Township
September 15, 2025: Olympia Fields, IL 60471 Rich Township Raptors (Olympia Fields, IL) fans went home in high spirits Monday as they saw their flag football squad top the visiting Crete-Monee Warriors (Crete, IL), 20-12 in a league test.
The Raptors now hold a 5-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Holy Trinity for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 16. Rich Township will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 28-0 non-league win over UIC College Prep (Chicago, IL). The Tigers record now stands at 2-2.
With the defeat, Crete-Monee moves to 1-2 on the season. The Warriors host Bloom (Chicago Heights, IL) to play the Blazing Trojan in a challenge on Wednesday, September 17. The Blazing Trojan go into the challenge with a record of 5-5. Bloom lost 63-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Hillcrest (Country Club Hills, IL)
