The Illini Central Cougars volleyball squad (Mason City, IL), was defeated 2-0 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Illini Bluffs Tigers (Glasford, IL)

With the win, Illini Bluffs improves its record to 9-0 on the season. The Tigers host Peoria Heights (Peoria Heights, IL) to encounter the Patriots in a Inter County challenge on Monday, September 22. The Patriots go into the test with a record of 0-9.

The Cougars now own a 2-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Maroa-Forsyth for a Sangamo test on Wednesday, September 17. Illini Central will face a Trojans squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Tolono Unity (Tolono, IL). The Trojans record now stands at 11-6.
