In Thursday's league match, the host Ponderosa Bruins football squad scored a good 28-7 victory over the Woodcreek Timberwolves.

The Bruins (4-1) will now prepare for their match against Placer (Auburn, CA). The Hillmen enter the non-league match with a 3-1 record. In their last match, Placer thwarted Antelope (Antelope, CA), 37-16, in a non-league match.
