Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Lincoln Hornets (San Diego, CA) and the visiting Canyon Crest Academy Ravens (San Diego, CA), observed Lincoln's volleyball team hold off Canyon Crest Academy by a count of 3-2.

The Hornets (9-5) will now prepare for their contest against University City (San Diego, CA). The Centurions enter the City - Eastern contest with a 12-14 record. In their last contest, University City was tipped by Sage Creek (Carlsbad, CA), 2-1, in a non-league contest.
