Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Eastern Hancock Royals (Charlottesville, IN) and the host Monroe Central Golden Bears (Parker City, IN), observed Eastern Hancock's volleyball team top Monroe Central by a count of 3-0.

The Royals (19-4) will now prepare for their contest against Cowan (Muncie, IN). The Blackhawks enter the Mid-Eastern contest with a 6-8 record. In their last contest, Cowan was knocked off by Eastbrook (Marion, IN), 3-1, in a non-league contest.
