Ascension Catholic Bulldogs (Donaldsonville, LA) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football squad smash the host St. Thomas Aquinas Falcons (Hammond, LA), 43-7 in a non-league match.

The Bulldogs (2-1) will now prepare for their match against Dunham (Baton Rouge, LA). The Tigers come into the non-league match with a 2-1 record. In their last match, Dunham was routed by St. Charles Catholic (LaPlace, LA), 27-21, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Falcons confront the Riverside Academy Rebels (Reserve, LA) in a non-league battle, on Friday, September 26. St. Thomas Aquinas will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record. The Rebels go into the battle with a 3-1 record after their 40-23 non-league win over Prairieville (Prairieville, LA).
