September 19, 2025: Davenport, IA 52803 The Davenport North Wildcats felled the host Davenport Central Blue Devils football team by a score of 26-2 in Friday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Wildcats play the Western Dubuque Bobcats (Epworth, IA) in a 4A District 3 challenge, on Friday, September 26. Davenport North will attempt to improve on its 3-1 season record. The Bobcats go into the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 35-17 non-league win over Decorah-North Winneshiek (Decorah, IA).
The Blue Devils (1-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Linn-Mar (Marion, IA). The Lions go into the 5A Group 6 challenge with a 0-4 record. In their last challenge, Linn-Mar was dropped by Kennedy (Cedar Rapids, IA), 28-16, in a non-league challenge.
