Goshen Eagles (Goshen, AL) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Highland Home Flying Squadron (Highland Home, AL), 45-20 in a league battle.

With the win, Goshen advances its record to 3-1 on the season. The Eagles host Elba (Elba, AL) to play the Tigers in a non-league battle on Friday, September 26. The Tigers go into the battle with a record of 0-5. Elba lost 36-34 in their recent league match against Brantley (Brantley, AL)

Coming up next, the Flying Squadron confront the Brantley Bulldogs (Brantley, AL) in a non-league match, on Thursday, September 25. Highland Home will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Bulldogs come into the match with a 3-1 record after their 36-34 league win over Elba (Elba, AL).
