Arkansas High School Football - McCrory can't hold off Hazen
September 19, 2025: McCrory, AR 72101 The Hazen Hornets got by the host McCrory Jaguars football team by a score of 38-36 in Friday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Hornets play the Bearden Bears (Bearden, AR) in a 2A Region 4 challenge, on Friday, September 26. Hazen will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Bears come into the test with a 1-2 record after their 46-14 non-league loss to Mount Ida (Mount Ida, AR).
With the defeat, McCrory drops to 2-1 on the campaign. The Jaguars travel to Cross County (Cherry Valley, AR) to meet the Thunderbirds in a 2A Region 2 test on Friday, September 26. The Thunderbirds enter the challenge with a record of 2-1. Cross County won 54-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Piggott (Piggott, AR)
