The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Needles Mustangs (Needles, CA) and the visiting The Meadows School Mustangs (Las Vegas, NV), witnessed Needles's football team prevail over The Meadows School by a final score of 38-30.

With the win, Needles advances its record to 3-2 on the season. The Mustangs host Lincoln County (Panaca, NV) to encounter the Lynx in a 2A Southern bout on Friday, October 10. The Lynx go into the bout with a record of 3-1.
