South Dakota High School Football - Redfield tops Waubay/Summit
September 19, 2025: Redfield, SD 57469 The Redfield Pheasants football squad scored 30 points and limited the visiting Waubay/Summit Mustangs to 22 in the Pheasants non-league triumph on Friday.
The Pheasants now hold a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they host Hamlin for a Eastern South Dakota (9 Man) challenge on Friday, September 26. Redfield will play a Chargers team coming off a 55-0 non-league win over Florence/Henry (Florence, SD). The Chargers record now stands at 5-0.
The Mustangs (0-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Wilmot (Wilmot, SD). The Wolves go into the Eastern Coteau (9 Man) challenge with a 0-3 record. In their last challenge, Wilmot lost by Castlewood (Castlewood, SD), 56-21, in a non-league challenge.
