California High School Football - Otay Ranch sneaks past Grossmont
September 19, 2025: Chula Vista, CA 91913 The Otay Ranch Mustangs football squad scored 27 points and limited the visiting Grossmont Foothillers to 26 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Friday.
The Mustangs now sport a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Olympian for a non-league test on Thursday, September 25. Otay Ranch will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 26-12 non-league win over Chula Vista (Chula Vista, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 4-1.
With the defeat, Grossmont drops to 1-2 on the campaign. The Foothillers travel to Valhalla (El Cajon, CA) to meet the Norsemen in a test on Friday, October 3. The Norsemen come into the test with a record of 0-3. Valhalla lost 51-6 in their recent non-league test against Steele Canyon (Spring Valley, CA)
