September 20, 2024: Dike, IA 50624 The Dike-New Hartford Wolverines walloped the visiting Sumner-Fredericksburg Cougars football team by a score of 46-6 in Friday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Wolverines play the Central Springs Panthers (Manly, IA) in a 1A District 3 challenge, on Friday, September 27. Dike-New Hartford will attempt to improve on its 3-1 season record. The Panthers go into the challenge with a 3-0 record after their 20-14 non-league win over Garner-Hayfield/Ventura (Garner, IA).
The Cougars (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against MFL MarMac (Monona, IA). The Bulldogs go into the 1A District 3 challenge with a 4-2 record. In their last challenge, MFL MarMac bounced Aplington-Parkersburg (Parkersburg, IA), 43-0, in a league challenge.
