In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Ascension Catholic Bulldogs volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Lafayette Christian Academy Knights.

The Bulldogs (6-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Episcopal of Acadiana (Cade, LA). The Falcons come into the non-league challenge with a 4-3 record. In their last challenge, Episcopal of Acadiana went down by Teurlings Catholic (Lafayette, LA), 3-0, in a non-league test.

The Knights now sport a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Destrehan for a non-league test on Saturday, September 20. Lafayette Christian Academy will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Berwick (Berwick, LA). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-9.
