Michigan High School Soccer - Notre Dame Prep knocks off Avondale
September 23, 2025: Pontiac, MI 48340 In Tuesday's non-league test, the host Notre Dame Prep Fighting Irish soccer team scored a close 6-0 triumph over the Avondale Yellowjackets.
With the triumph, Notre Dame Prep advances its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Fighting Irish host Lutheran North (Macomb, MI) to clash with the Mustangs in a non-league test on Thursday, September 25. The Mustangs come into the test with a record of 0-1.
The Yellowjackets now have a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Berkley for a non-league bout on Friday, October 3. Avondale will play a Bears squad coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Troy (Troy, MI). The Bears record now stands at 2-1.
