Colorado High School Flag Football - Air Academy smashes Coronado

September 25, 2025: Colorado Springs, CO 80904

The Air Academy Kadets (US Air Force Academy, CO) flag football trounced the host Coronado Cougars (Colorado Springs, CO), 39-6 in Thursday's league outing.

The Kadets now sport a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Elizabeth for a 5A/4A Southern Colorado outing on Tuesday, September 30. Air Academy will clash with a Cardinals squad coming off a 13-0 league win over The Vanguard School (Colorado Springs, CO). The Cardinals record now stands at 7-2.

With the defeat, Coronado drops to 4-6 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to The Classical Academy (Colorado Springs, CO) to clash with the Titans in a 5A/4A Southern Colorado outing on Tuesday, September 30. The Titans enter the game with a record of 7-2. The Classical Academy won 31-6 in their recent non-league game against Vista PEAK Prep (Aurora, CO)
