In Friday's league battle, the visiting Cedar Springs Red Hawks football team scored a tight 35-28 win over the Lowell Red Arrows.

With the win, Cedar Springs improves its record to 4-1 on the season. The Red Hawks host Sault Area (Sault St. Marie, MI) to play the Blue Devils in a non-league battle on Friday, October 3. The Blue Devils go into the battle with a record of 0-5. Sault Area lost 48-6 in their recent league battle against Marquette (Marquette, MI)

The Red Arrows now have a 4-1 record. They play next when they travel to Kenowa Hills for a River Cities Alliance match on Friday, October 3. Lowell will play a Knights team coming off a 37-15 non-league loss to Harper Creek (Battle Creek, MI). The Knights record now stands at 4-1.
